missingWrote a review on Dec 07hard bedlack of privacy
My stay was quite disappointing due to several issues. The bed was extremely hard, which made sleeping uncomfortable, and the room lacked any proper window treatment, resulting in unwanted light even at night. Moreover, the lack of a designated dining area made taking meals awkwardly confined to the room.

Consider asking for breakfast timing adjustments, as it tends to be delivered later than usual. The staff is accommodating for such requests.

Why it’s almost great (but not quite)
The location near Nijo Castle is perfect, with spacious rooms for relaxation after daily explorations. The breakfast experience is an invigorating delight, fueling exciting days ahead.
Unfortunately, the lack of a proper dining area and the firm bed made for some awkward moments, affecting the overall impression of comfort during my stay.

missingWrote a review on Aug 19stylish roomdelicious breakfastfirm bedlack of dining spaceexternal noise
The stylish design of the boutique hotel creates a calming atmosphere, enhanced by a spacious room featuring an excellent shower and bathtub. Breakfast was a delightful mix of Japanese and Western styles, including standout guava jam. However, the absence of a dedicated dining space made meals feel a bit confining, and the firm bed significantly affected comfort. Additionally, the lack of soundproofing allowed external noise to disrupt relaxation, especially during the night.

The room was spacious and fabulously clean. I loved the cozy slippers and stylish bathroom products provided. I indulged in a revitalizing full body massage and enjoyed a peaceful quiet area for relaxation. The only downside was the air conditioning was a bit loud at times, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all. 😊
